Job Description
The role combines MIS administration, school data security, education reporting and cross-system process improvement.
The Data Manager connects accurate pupil records with actionable reporting on attendance, attainment and assessment. The post oversees school MIS access, statutory and IB information returns, and improvements to data security and interoperability between school platforms.
The academy administers the IB PYP and MYP; its data team prepares school progress reporting and statutory submissions in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the student information system, annual roll-over, access rights and learner records
- Collect assessment evidence and produce PYP and MYP reports
- Analyse attendance, attainment and progress for educational leaders
- Prepare required information returns for the ministry, the IB and Nord Anglia
- Protect personal data under Qatar law and group policies
- Improve interoperability and reporting workflows between school systems
Requirements & Qualifications
- A relevant university degree and at least three years in school information or data management
- Direct practical administration of school MIS software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
- Discretion with sensitive information and strong quality control
- Ability to explain statistics clearly to non-technical colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
- iSAMS experience
- Power BI or comparable reporting software
- International-school or IB background
