Job Overview

Naufar offers a Nurse Technician opportunity in Qatar within its nursing services. The role’s central responsibility is: Provide care as directed by the nurse responsible for the shift and follow individual treatment plans.

Job Description

Assist the nursing team with patient support, safe treatment environments and day-to-day delivery of prescribed nursing plans. Prepare patient rooms for admission and help patients settle into their rooms. Clean and prepare clinical equipment and treatment spaces to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care as directed by the nurse responsible for the shift and follow individual treatment plans.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and help patients settle into their rooms.
• Clean and prepare clinical equipment and treatment spaces to the required standard.
• Record care activities and patient responses and pass observations to nursing supervisors.
• Maintain fairness, patient comfort, dignity and privacy during all interactions.
• Protect personal and clinical information confidentiality.
• Offer suitable emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Communicate proposed room changes appropriately and respond to concerns.
• Keep workspaces safe, clean and sanitary.
• Relay clinically approved messages from the care team to patients and families.
• Observe the physical environment and escalate risks to therapeutic safety.

Requirements & Qualifications

• An accredited diploma in nursing or another health-related discipline.
• At least two years’ professional experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Practical reliability and good time management for routine care tasks.
• Understanding of nursing care in mental-health or addiction services.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and adapt to workplace changes.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic are both required.
• Basic IT ability and competence using management information systems.
