2. Job Description

The corporate legal role supports Ooredoo Group on complex banking and finance legal matters, helping protect the Group’s position, structure transactions and manage contractual and regulatory risk.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for banking and finance transactions and manage external counsel when needed.
• Plan and oversee legal due diligence.
• Draft and negotiate finance agreements, term sheets, memoranda and security documents.
• Advise on legal aspects of financial, tax and transaction structuring.
• Provide broader corporate legal support when required by the legal team.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• University degree in Law.
• Strong experience in finance law and commercial finance transactions.
• Experience with lending, secured finance and banking matters.
• Strong legal drafting, communication and transaction-management skills.
• Fluent English.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• Business degree is a plus.
• Bar membership in a Gulf jurisdiction, EU country or the United States is valued.
• Arabic fluency is a plus.
