Role Overview

The Junior HR Business Partner supports Doha Festival City Mall across employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, talent processes and outsourced manpower while maintaining HR-policy and Qatar labour-law compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide day-to-day HR business-partnering support and act as the first HR contact for managers and employees.
  • Implement HR policies and initiatives covering employee relations, performance, workforce planning and engagement.
  • Handle employee queries and basic cases, escalate complex matters and keep documentation and systems updated.
  • Manage onboarding, probation, contract changes and offboarding, including induction plans and joining communications.
  • Assess manpower needs and prepare/review budgets and forecasts, maintaining accurate SAP budget records.
  • Support requisitions, job descriptions, interviews, unbiased selection feedback and offers aligned with Qatar compensation/SOPs.
  • Maintain onboarding and probation trackers and ensure employees receive accurate information on policies, benefits and changes.
  • Support talent reviews, critical-role identification, engagement/wellbeing calendars, surveys and reward-platform participation.
  • Coordinate training-needs analysis and participation in Real Estate and Group HR learning programmes.
  • Provide timely inputs for salary increments, promotions and other HR analytics.
  • Manage employee-relations cases confidentially and document meetings/interviews for resolution.
  • Manage outsourced-manpower contracts, SLAs, agency performance, attendance and payroll, resolving discrepancies with agencies and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or HR.
  • Five years of HR experience in a large organisation and knowledge of Qatar Labour Law.
  • Employee-relations experience and ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Supervisory skills for effective role delivery.
