Landscape Engineer (Agriculture)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Landscape Engineer with a UPDA license and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing landscape projects with a focus on sustainable agricultural practices and horticultural elements. This role requires collaboration with architects, urban planners, and project managers to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments in line with Qatar's regulations.

Key Accomplishments:

• Oversees softscape work, including plant material inspections.
• Reviews shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups related to hardscape and softscape.
• Ensures all materials, equipment, manpower, and plants are available at the site.
• Monitors material deliveries for quantity control and approves delivery notes.
• Coordinates with draftsmen for preparation of landscaping as-built drawings.
• Conducts site inspections and supervises landscape activities to ensure timeline, cost, and project specification compliance.
• Collaborates with the QA/QC Department to ensure inspection and testing follow the project quality plan.
• Provides constructive support to the Project Manager for all soft landscaping aspects.
• Works closely with subcontractors and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Communicates with the Project Manager on potential future issues.
• Performs additional tasks as required.
• Manages landscape architectural designs to be safe, functional, technically accurate, and as creative as possible, while respecting client briefs and adhering to local laws and regulations.

Education Background & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
• MMUP license in civil architecture.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Skills:

• Expertise in landscape engineering focused on agriculture and horticulture.
• Proficiency in landscape design software and detailed planting plans.
• Experience in irrigation systems, soil management, and sustainable agricultural techniques.
• Strong understanding of local climate conditions and suitable plant species for Qatar.

QA/QC Engineer (Civil/Architecture)

Role Purpose:
The QA/QC Engineer (Civil Architect) is responsible for ensuring that all project site activities comply with quality standards outlined in the Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan. The role involves upholding high standards in material inspection, safety, and quality, while proactively addressing quality issues to achieve project excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures on-site activities align with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan.
• Validates the Quality Management System Quality Plan and procedures for the project, including those for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Verifies material certifications for compliance with purchase order specifications.
• Conducts material inspections to ensure compliance with standard specifications and raises non-conformity reports when standards are not met.
• Enforces safety standards according to HSE management requirements.
• Prepares non-conformance reports for specification or procedural discrepancies.
• Monitors Inspection Requests, Material Inspection Requests, and Method Statement Submittals.
• Conducts audits on construction sites to evaluate and improve QA/QC processes.
• Liaises with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to align on quality expectations.

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role in a related field.
• Strong understanding of project specifications and plans.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
• Familiarity with inspection and testing techniques.
• Proficient in quality assurance tools and software.

• رخصة MMUP في الهندسة المعمارية المدنية.
• مهارات تحليلية وتقنية قوية.
• مهارات تواصل ممتازة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.

المهارات:

• خبرة في هندسة المناظر الطبيعية مع التركيز على الزراعة والبستنة.
• إجادة برامج تصميم المناظر الطبيعية.
• خبرة في أنظمة الري وإدارة التربة.

مهندس QA/QC (مدني/معماري)

الغرض من الدور:
يتحمل مهندس ضمان الجودة والرقابة على الجودة مسؤولية التأكد من أن جميع الأنشطة في موقع المشروع تتماشى مع معايير الجودة المحددة في خطة جودة المشروع. تشمل المهام الحفاظ على معايير عالية في فحص المواد والسلامة والجودة.

المهام الرئيسية:
