Job Title: Lead Architect
Job Summary
The Lead Architect will play a key role in bringing complex building designs to life, overseeing all architectural aspects from design review and implementation to construction and quality control. He will guide and mentor junior engineers while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the architectural engineering team on assigned construction projects.
- Design Review: Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
- Document Development: Develop and implement comprehensive construction documents, including building plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to guarantee seamless integration of architectural elements.
- Construction Oversight: Oversee the construction of architectural components, including walls, doors, windows, and finishes.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve architectural challenges during construction phases.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality control inspections, ensuring adherence to project specifications and design intent.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets and timelines for assigned architectural work.
- Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, fostering their professional growth.

- Primary Contact: Represent the project as the primary point of contact for architectural inquiries.

- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Power Tools).
- Project Management: Project management certification.
- Sustainability Knowledge: Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards.
