1. Job: Project Lead Engineer – Symphony Plus

• Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Description:

In this role, you will be the technical lead for all engineering activities in projects with low engineering complexity. You will ensure that engineering activities are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead all engineering disciplines in projects with few complex features.
• Review all project/service documents for safety and quality assurance compliance.
• Provide technical support for project installation, commissioning, and site activities.
• Apply Design Thinking and Design for Excellence concepts in projects.
• Lead technical meetings with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure technical solutions are correctly manufactured and tested.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Prepare work plans and cost estimates in consultation with project managers.
• Assist in preparing project proposals/presentations.
• Contribute to identifying new business opportunities in existing projects.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate Engineer in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years with ABB Infi90 / Symphony Plus, 800xA.
• Practical Experience:
  • Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Experience in industrial networking, switch configuration, and firewall configuration.
  • Cybersecurity experience for 800xA systems with the ability to conduct cybersecurity audits and assessments.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU & TCP, and OPC.
• Personal Skills:
  • Strong analytical thinking and adaptability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
  • Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• المؤهل التعليمي: مهندس تخرج في الهندسة الكهربائية/الإلكترونية/أدوات القياس.
• الخبرة: الحد الأدنى 10 سنوات من الخبرة في العمل مع أنظمة ABB Infi90 / Symphony Plus، 800xA.
• الخبرة العملية:
  • خبرة عملية في تركيب النظام، التكوين، الاختبار، التكليف والصيانة.
  • خبرة في الشبكات الصناعية وتكوين المفاتيح والشبكات والجدران النارية.
  • خبرة في حلول الأمن السيبراني لأنظمة 800xA مع القدرة على إجراء تدقيقات وتقييمات للأمن السيبراني.
