Job Description:

This role involves the maintenance and operation of the P5 Combat Training System (P5CTS) for the F-15QA in Qatar. The successful candidate will manage and maintain the QEAF P5CTS Ops and Maintenance Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a log containing serial numbers, pod types, date, time, and remarks for all P5CTS pods checked in and out of the P5CTS pod shop.
• Maintain a daily status/availability log on all P5CTS pods.
• Conduct Organizational-Level (O-Level) and Intermediate-Level (I-Level) maintenance tests and replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs).
• Perform duties of Display and Debriefing Subsystem Operator as needed, including loading programs for operation and test.
• Provide technical assistance to aircrews for setup and debriefing.
• Maintain and store mission data and debriefing records.
• Provide monthly mission data to assist with the compilation of the Monthly Report.
• Interface directly with aircrews regarding mission effectiveness.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Skills and Experience:

  • Technical background in a similar role with experience in a military environment.
  • Ability to perform OJT (On-the-Job Training) for new and continuing training.
  • Basic IT skills with MS Office and testing software.
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Ability to use electronic tools and testing equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and perform tasks in tight spaces.

• Education and Qualifications:

  • Two-year college qualification in a technical field or equivalent technical and military experience.
  • Must possess a driving license.

• Desirable Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience working in remote or foreign environments.

• Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to adapt to a remote or foreign environment with strong diplomacy and cultural awareness.
  • Detail-oriented with high integrity and discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and use initiative.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet company objectives.
