Job Listing: Senior Accountant at EMS

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (professional degree is an added advantage).
• At least 10 years of experience in senior positions.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Qatari Labor Law and the ability to manage tax assessments from the tax authority.
• Ability to face challenges with a positive attitude.
• Capable of handling top management and interacting with them as needed.
• Quick adaptation to accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks) and ERP systems.
• Team player with the ability to manage a team.
• Professional attitude towards work.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial statements and year-end audit reports.
• Handle internal and external auditors professionally.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidated financial reports, including cash flow and budget.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, especially job-wise profitability, complete purchase cycle, and invoicing to customers.
• Knowledge of inventory systems, including costing, warehousing, stocktaking, and coding.
• Perform reconciliation (Inventory, Bank, Debtors & Creditors).
• Review and prepare cash payment, cheque payment vouchers, and journal vouchers with proper allocation to the respective accounts and entering them into accounting software.
• Liaise with the bank for tender, performance, and advance bank guarantees, issuance, and amendments of letters of credit.
• Protect organization details by keeping information confidential.
• Prepare payroll and upload it in the WPS system.
• Maintain the fixed assets register with additions and disposals.

المهام الوظيفية:

• الإشراف على البيانات المالية وتقارير التدقيق السنوية.
• التعامل مع المدققين الداخليين والخارجيين بشكل مهني.
• إعداد البيانات المالية الشهرية والتقارير الموحدة بما في ذلك التدفق النقدي والميزانية.
• معرفة تقنية جيدة في المحاسبة وخاصة (الربحية حسب الوظيفة، دورة الشراء الكاملة والفوترة للعملاء).
• معرفة جيدة بنظام المخزون والقدرة على التعامل مع النظام بما في ذلك التكاليف، والتخزين، والجرد، والترميز.
• إجراء التسويات (المخزون، البنك، الدائنين والمدينين).
• مراجعة وإعداد قسائم الدفع النقدي والشيكات، وقسائم اليومية مع تخصيصها للحسابات المناسبة وإدخالها في برنامج المحاسبة.
• التواصل مع البنك بخصوص الضمانات البنكية، وإصدار وتعديل خطابات الاعتماد.
• حماية بيانات المنظمة من خلال الحفاظ على سرية المعلومات.
• إعداد الرواتب ورفعها في نظام WPS.
• الحفاظ على سجل الأصول الثابتة مع الإضافة والتصفية.
