Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Lathe & Milling Operation: Operate CNC turning and milling centers, along with other types of machines like conventional lathes, horizontal and vertical boring, and milling machines.
• Tool Setting & Operation: Set up tools and operate CNC machines as per manufacturer’s instructions and operating manuals.
• Pre-Work Inspection: Visually inspect tools and materials before starting the job, replacing any defective tools.
• Safety Standards: Operate machines safely and competently, maintaining good safety and housekeeping standards according to QHSE policies.
• Coordination with QC Inspector: Coordinate with QC Inspector after completing the work.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpieces.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor machine operations for malfunctions and adjust controls as needed.
• Additional Maintenance Tasks: Perform other field or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret component drawings accurately.
• CNC Programming Knowledge: Expertise in CNC programming and familiarity with FANUC programming systems.
• Basic Mathematical Skills: Required for precise calculations in machining.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Advanced Machining Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of machining processes and tool operation.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 years of overall machining experience.
• At least 6 years of CNC Turn mill center programming and operation experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with various machine types, including lathe, horizontal and vertical boring, milling, and others.
• Experience with machining API connections is an added advantage.

Education Requirements:

• ITI in Trade Machinist + NCVT CNC programming and CNC lathe and milling operation courses.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
