Job Details

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service and maintenance of BMS systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of BMS equipment.
• Update software and firmware to maintain system reliability and security.
• Diagnose and resolve faults and issues in BMS systems promptly and effectively.
• Provide on-site technical support for emergency breakdowns and repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify system malfunctions.
• Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Implement changes to control strategies and settings to enhance system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Ensure all system changes are documented and in compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and facility management teams regarding BMS operations.
• Train end-users and on-site personnel on the effective use and maintenance of the BMS.
• Develop and update user manuals and training materials.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, maintenance activities, and system performance.
• Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for clients and internal use.
• Report any significant issues or recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Ensure all service activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in servicing and maintaining BMS or related systems.
• Proficiency in BMS software such as Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
