Plumber Lead

• Under the supervision of the Plumber Supervisor, oversees construction and maintenance involving plumbing equipment and related devices on construction projects for the PWD Projects Team.
• Conducts Field Surveys (FS) and Initial Assessments (IA’s) for potential construction projects.
• This task includes but is not limited to the calculation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Labor Hours, Project Technical Approaches, Field /Technical Drawings, Project Assumptions, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Ensures personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focus on delivering a quality product.
• Follows UFC’s and Department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all tasks are accomplished safely, with a focus upon quality and plumbing code compliance.
• Provides Leadership and mentors junior personnel to develop appropriate skillsets.
• Verifies actual hours worked by personnel to reduce manpower expenditure.

Portable Solar Light Technician Lead

• Performs corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations on Solar Panels and associated equipment.
• Assembles, installs, or maintains portable solar panel light sets in compliance with site assessment, schematics, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Performs minor electrical work such as current checks, voltage checks, and overall performance of other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining a power facility.
• Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.
• Performs work independently and/or in work crews.
• Inspects facilities and equipment using solar panels to ensure systems were installed per code.

Overview

This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP.

• Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, operates, and maintains electrical systems and components of electrical power distribution and generating equipment.
• Performs operations and maintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunications equipment.
• Maintains the facility’s physical electrical distribution system in good repair.
• Electrical work experience includes electrical installation in commercial and industrial categories.
• Complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) 2008 for repairs and upgrades to existing construction, and NEC 2011 standards apply for new construction.

Assistant Fire Chief (Training & Fire Prevention)

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. An Associate's or higher degree in Fire Science or related fields is preferred.
• Must meet training and certification requirements outlined in DODM 6055.06.
• Required to have Fire Officer III, Fire Instructor III, Fire Inspector III, and Hazardous Materials (HM) certifications.
• Preferred Certifications: Fire Investigator and Fire Officer IV.
• Must be Secret Clearance eligible and/or able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Experience:

• Five (5) years combined experience in local authority, civil aviation, or military fire service required.

Overview

This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP.

• Serves as the Certified Electrician Supervisor for all Electrical maintenance, including Electrical Control Panels.
• Must be able to wire up, install, troubleshoot, and test electrical control panels to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), SOPs, and IOPs.
• Provides feedback relating to open, closed, and over-30 day work orders to the Public Works Manager.

Firefighter

Responsibilities

• Actively participates and maintains a safe workplace.
• Complies with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.
• Ensures emergency equipment is operational and in a state of readiness as required by NFPA or other industry standards.
• Participates in fire inspections, pre-incident planning, and ensures that facilities are safe.
• Operates computerized digital fire alarm receiving equipment, including two-way radio communications.
• Maintains accountability of equipment and coordinates appointments of subordinates.

Carpenter Lead

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have an international driver's license and the ability to obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license.

• Must successfully complete both online and hands-on CBRN defense training.

Experience:

• At least one year of general cleaning experience.

• Responsibilities
