Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and experience of teaching Islamic Studies and ideally Arabic language for non-native students across KS3 to KS5
- Provide a relevant and challenging learning experience for all students

- Ensure students are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment

Key Responsibilities:
- Line Manage the Pastoral Team in Key Stage 5
- Establish highly effective working relationships and support members of the team to improve their teaching practice in relation to their role as tutors and/or other position in the team
- Collaborate with the school careers coordinator in ensuring careers guidance is closely aligned with student course choices rooted in shared family aspirations
- Support the Senior Leader i/c Academics with parental conversations and guidance for course selection and university destinations advising in light of family aspirations
- Collaborate with the Exams Officer and Registrar in supporting student higher education applications
- Monitor the quality of pastoral provision within the phase on a day-to-day basis
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with all monitoring and evaluation across the Key Stage
- Support staff development through coaching and mentoring alongside participating in and leading some staff training
- Review planning to ensure appropriate coverage, progression and a range of pastoral experiences across the phase
