• performs all available radiographic examinations and techniques to be done in the department as assigned by the Radiologist and the Senior Technician
• determines patient’s Radiologic examinations by reading requests or from physicians’ instructions
• provides verbal and/or written instructions with explanation about the following examination to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation from the patient during the procedure
• escorts patients to the changing room of the designated examination room
• assists in position of the patient on the examination table
• operates radiologic equipment to produce high quality images for diagnostic purposes
• positions radiologic equipment and adjust controls according to specification of the examination
• repeats images that do not meet the established standards in the department
• uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members
• ensures radiologic equipment remains in working order and report any malfunctioning with the equipment to the Senior Radiology Technician
• performs related administrative duties including completing necessary forms, labeling films and film envelopes
• maintains adequate radiologic supplies in the department for all radiographic examinations
• maintains records on examinations performed daily in the department with respect to the protocol
• coordinates with other colleagues when a procedure requires more than one technician
• performs all other duties as assigned by Senior Radiology Technician and Radiologist

• responsible for purchasing of maintenance items based on the request.
• visits different companies in order to get a reasonable price and for the price comparison
• responsible for entering all purchased items price in master price file on a daily basis
• checks maintenance request on daily basis
• checks the quantity in terms of item requested & consumption/frequency
• visits the manufacturing/service company for repairing of maintenance items
• coordinate with the maintenance supervisor for the items that need to be purchased and to provide the exact material as per requirement
• responsible for delivering purchased items at the main store except for the bulk purchased items that needs to be delivered at the site
• responsible for delivering the purchased items to the store and taking stamp on invoice/delivery note for the submission to accounts dept
• keeps records of all-cash purchase in terms of purchase request/invoice/delivery notes copies in separate file/folder
• proper documentation and to keep control of department files & folders
• maintains a proper filing of POs/Invoice/DN/GRN company-wise in a separate folder
• responsible for filing of contracts approved credit application form in a separate folder
• miscellanies work as & when requested by the department
