1. QA/QC Inspector
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for QAQC documents and submitals.
- Responsible for fit-up inspection-related activities on the fabrication stage in compliance with the project specification.
- Responsible for welding & NDT inspection-related activities on the welding stage in compliance with the project specification.
- Carry out various types of inspection such as dimension inspection, visual inspection, joint inspection, fit-up assembly inspection, hole location & orientation inspection, visual inspection, weld visual inspection, and in-house NDT inspection.
- Responsible for Painting inspections
Qualifications:
- Certifications required: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS-CSWIP Paint Inspector, ASNT NDT atleast MPI
- Graduate in any discipline with a quality assurance / mechanical engineering diploma from a recognized university.
- Number of experiences: 5/10 years & above.
2. Structural Engineer
Under the direct supervision of the Design Supervisor, this job is generally responsible for Designs and Estimates of steel buildings.
Person Specifications:
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in steel design and two to three years previous experience in PEB
- A good knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to guide draftsmen
- Ability to correctly apply all major building codes and design standards used, American, British Standards and Eurocode
- Ability to correctly apply computerized analyses and designs to the engineering of complex structures
- Ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications
- A sufficient knowledge of PEB’s manufacturing practices
- The maturity and ability to effectively meet with customers and properly communicate PEB’s standard practices
- Ability to coordinate and handle big projects as a team leader
- Ability to guide, organize and supervise a team of Engineers
- Ability to take charge of Group Supervisor in his absence
List of Responsibilities:
- Designs buildings and structures assigned to him using building codes, design standards, specifications and procedures adopted in PEB.
- Prepares design and estimates for the high complexity buildings. Estimates are done in a timely manner as set by the Group’s Supervisor.
- Guide draftsmen for preparing approval drawings for complex projects.
- Works closely with the design checker and the Drafting/Detailing Checker to ensure his work is error-free.
- Reviews, evaluates and interprets structural engineering requirements in light of standard parts usage and minimum in-place cost.
- Recommends solutions for design problems to the Group Supervisor that will improve the design and drafting efficiency.
- Responsible for the structural integrity of all of his designs.
- Ensures that all designs maximize standard parts usage and are in accordance with good engineering practices.
- Acts as a team leader for handling big projects and guide his team ensuring proper coordination and timely completion of project.
- Take charge of the Group in the absence of Group Supervisor.
- Shoulders any other assignment entrusted upon him by the Supervisor and Manager
3. Sales Engineer
Job Description:
- Candidate Should be an Engineering Graduate with technical background.
- Candidate should have minimum 5 years’ experience in steel structure.Experience in hot rolled structure and pre-engineered building fabrication.Design or Estimation background will be a plus point.
- Candidate must be proficient in both Arabic and English languages, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in both languages. Fluency in both Arabic and English is a highly desirable skill for this position.
4. Fabricators
Job Description:
- Mark reference points into materials to prepare for various modifications and additions prior to welding.
- Operate heavy equipment cranes to move pieces from one fabrication station to another throughout the manufacturing process.
- Position and tighten braces, bolts, clamps, boots and other necessary parts into place for welding and riveting.
- Straighten parts that are bent or warped due to defects in the manufacturing process or damage caused by human error.
- Preheat workpieces to make them malleable prior to shaping.Shape, bevel and level low points along the length of structural components.Align and fit parts to spec using the proper tools, including hammers, pry bars, wedges, turnbuckles and other appropriate tool selections.
- Use squares, levels and other measuring tools to confirm that all parts are manufactured to specifications Uphold workplace safety expectations and aid in team accountability for safe workplace practices.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Maintain all quality assurance paperwork necessary to document the proper performance of duties.
5. QA/QC Head
Job Description:
- Responsible for QAQC documents and submitals.

6. Mig Welders
Job Description:
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
- Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by superiors.
- Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
- Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions (1F, 2F, 3F, 4F, 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G.
- MS Steel and GI welding. Aluminum and Stainless-steel welding is preferable
- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
- Positions and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixtures.
- Selects torch, torch tip, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material.
- Tacks assemblies together.
- Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.
- Cleans or de-greases parts.
- Performs all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.
- Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area
