1. Assistant Cook
Mission
- To assist in the preparation of soups, salads, b/fast, chapattis, paratha, poori, and rice.
- To assist in mis-en-place.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation.
- To ensure proper mopping and cleanliness of the kitchen.
- To sort out stores and maintain stores including meat, fish, vegetable freezers and dry stores in a neat and orderly manner.
- To sort out/dispose of the garbage after each shift.
Profile
- The ideal candidate must be residing in Qatar for immediate Joining.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience from a Hotel, Restaurant or Catering Company.
- Change of Employer is a MUST.
2. Butcher
Mission
- Provide a comprehensive butchery service in line with the menu and quantities defined by the chef.
- Provide an efficient butchery service for all types of meat, fowl, and fish.
- Liaise with the chief cook regarding requirements for the menu and quantities required for the meals.
- Receive and inspect meat upon delivery for quality and quantity.
- Ensure the correct storage of meat items and that stock rotation procedures are maintained.
- Minimize wastages through optimum use of butchery tools and techniques.
Profile
- The ideal candidate must be available in Qatar for Immediate Joining.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and knowledge and skills in the Butchery section.
3. Cook (Filipino Cuisine)
Mission
- To organize all the resources within the Kitchen and other areas under his responsibility
- To ensure timely preparation of food as per set menu and within the set cost.
- To ensure quality, quantity and hygienic food is served with particular emphasis on presentation. To try and ensure minimum / no wastage (excess food balance).
- To plan and cost menus in coordination with the Camp Boss keeping in mind the basic principle of FIFO.
- To plan for variety of preparations in the menu ensuring the satisfaction of the client and within the set cost norms.
- To be responsible for allocation of work to other kitchen staff.
Profile
- Minimum two-three years’ experience as a Cook specialized in Filipino Food.
- Having knowledge and skills in the preparation of specifically of Filipino cuisine.
- The ideal candidate must be available in Qatar for immediate joining.
4. Cook (African Cuisine)
Mission
- To organize all the resources within the Kitchen and other areas under his responsibility
- To ensure timely preparation of food as per set menu and within the set cost.
- To ensure quality, quantity and hygienic food is served with particular emphasis on presentation. To try and ensure minimum / no wastage (excess food balance).
- To plan and cost menus in coordination with the Camp Boss keeping in mind the basic principle of FIFO. To plan for variety of preparations in the menu ensuring the satisfaction of the client and within the set cost norms.
- To assist camp boss in indenting for provisions.
- To be responsible for allocation of work to other kitchen staff.
Profile
- Minimum two-three years’ experience as Cook/chef (African Cuisine) with Hotels, Clubs, Lodging and Boarding, on shore Labor Camps, Hospitals, Catering companies.
- Must have specific knowledge and skills in the preparation of typical African food.
- The ideal candidate must be available in Qatar with immediate/short notice for joining.
