1. Qatar Duty Free - E-Commerce
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as an E-commerce Specialist who ensures the continuity & high level of QDF eStore’s daily performance via overseeing daily eStore operations (campaigns, promotions, personalization, roll-outs, etc.), liaising with operational counterparts from other departments (e.g. customer service, fulfilment, and Food & Beverage), and analyzing and actioning on real-time data insights.
Operation:
- Maintain an up-to-date set of promotions, activations & complementary offers on the web-store to ensure a high level of appeal of QDF eStore’s offer
- Launch, support & close on time brand & trade marketing campaigns to ensure compliance with the marketing campaign calendar
- Deploy loyalty marketing offers via collaboration with Privilege Club to ensure customer base growth & retention
- Regularly review the assortment selection of the eStore with Category Management & Senior Management to ensure its relevance; action agreed assortment adjustments
- Perform regular analysis & reporting of web/campaign-analytics & business KPIs, propose & action databased performance improvement plans
- Conduct dynamic top-line KPI forecasting for the eStore together with eCommerce Manager & Demand Planning to ensure proper operational planning
- Ensure synchronization of the eStore’s operations with Customer Service, Fulfilment & other involved departments
- Assist in the development & update of operational procedures & standards for QDF eCommerce to drive consistency, compliance and clarity of processes
- Support Customer Experience personalization through timely deployment of respective campaigns & through the correct set-up of personalization goals, segments & methods
- Participate in new feature testing & adoption roll-outs to support QDF eStore’s long-term product enhancement strategy
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders in case it’s required for the continuity of operations.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Essential
- Experience with Web analytics
- Experience working in an online/omnichannel retailer’s operations
- Experience working with external parties (agencies, suppliers)
- Experience with CMS (Content Management System), Google Analytics
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Fluent English
- Understanding of P&L (Profit & Loss Statement & budget management principles)
- Understanding of UX (User Experience) & Customer Journey principles

2. Duty Free Store Manager - Qatar Duty Free
As Duty Free Store Manager you will be responsible to manage and deliver efficient and effective store management by creating a culture of excellence and developing high performance teams to deliver strong KPI performance and world class experience to all guests. Work with Duty Managers to plan effective deployment of resources in line with business needs to deliver strong sales and best guest experience.
Key accountabilities include:
- Monitor customer service standards in store and work with DMS and Supervisors to deliver "GUEST" service standards to all HIA guests.
- Communicate shop KPI targets to DMS in a timely manner and ensure all DM's, Supervisors and the team members are aware of KPI targets.
- Review and discuss weekly store performance DMS and identify actions to improve performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to discuss and address department pertinent issues i.e marketing, IT, admin, merchandising, warehouse, learning and development, projects, etc.
- Monitor staff standards in terms of grooming, time and attendance, and general attitude on the shop floor.
- Monitor store standards i.e signages, cleanliness, stocks, lighting, etc. Implement daily checklist and conduct daily store walks with DMS to ensure world class store standards are maintained at all times.
- Manage team performance, conduct people performance management reviews in an unbiased and constructive manner, provide regular feedback and create performance development plans.
- Review shrinkage results with Retail Manager and create action plan to minimise shrinkage.
- Provide feedback on product performance/issues to respective Category Managers.
- Work with DMS to create a culture of excellence through mentoring, feedback, and coaching methods.
- Train managers and staff on excellent customer service skills through shadowing, on the job training, etc.
- Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
- Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
