Required jobs in WINSTAR GROUP and their details:
1. Graduate Engineers for Technicians Position
Key Responsibilities:
- First 2 years they will work as a technician and get benefits and facilities of technicians.
- If they perform well, they will be promoted as Testing & Commissioning Engineer with benefits as per engineer.
2. Power System Protection Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the configuration and testing of all protection relays for generators, transformers, lines, cables, motors, feeders, etc.
- Understand relay coordination study and verify the report before uploading settings and configuration in relays.
- Perform functional checks of the relays and complete schemes including end-to-end tests and unit protection schemes.
- Configure SCMS of GE, ABB, SIEMENS, SEL, etc., and establish complete communication link within the substation and with control centers.
- Carry out retrofit of the protection system of substations/power plants.
3. Substation Testing and Commissioning Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Test switchgear components, power transformers, generators, cables, busducts, motors, GIS, etc.
- Test backup protection relays along with configuration.
- Perform operational and functional checks of the electrical system, including stability and sensitivity tests.
- Independently carry out retrofit and maintenance testing of the electrical system.
4. Panel Wireman
Key Responsibilities:
- Read panel drawings accurately.
- Independently perform control and protection panel wiring and testing.
- Wire, crimp, and terminate as per panel drawing.
- Arrange switchgear materials according to Panel GA drawing and BOM.
- Install electrical components in control panels and perform labeling/ferruling.
- Gland and terminate field cables.
- Conduct control panel continuity testing.
5. Industrial Electrician
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle control panel equipment such as LV circuit breakers, LV transformers, power supplies, contactors, VFDs (inverters), and other electronics.
- Install new or refurbished electrical systems for manufacturing or production plants; run tests to ensure machinery readiness.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in factory equipment and identify root causes.
- Repair and maintain existing equipment using tools and replacement parts.
