Required jobs in NES Firecroft company and their details:

1. Commissioning Lead (Telecoms)

The Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) Telecoms Lead will provide oversight and direction to the project’s main contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors during offshore hook-up and commissioning stages. This role ensures compliance with technical standards, project requirements, and QE LNG quality expectations while supporting change management and readiness for asset handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance on Telecoms Equipment principles, codes, and standards.
  • Review and approve contractor procedures and documentation.
  • Validate optimization of project delivery and readiness for handover.
  • Act as commissioning focal point during FATs and SATs.
  • Support EPC PMT by reviewing critical documents and attending workshops.
  • Analyse technical proposals, deviations, and exceptions for compliance.
  • Witness contractor scope of work and sign off test sheets.
  • Cooperate with quality audit teams and report findings accurately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in large-project commissioning in Oil & Gas, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Expertise in Telecoms design, fibre optic/copper cable testing, networking fundamentals, cyber security, and radio systems.
  • Knowledge of offshore facilities, LNG production risks, and execution methods.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced computer literacy.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

2. Marine Lead

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years seagoing experience as shipboard engineer or sea officer, including 1 year as Chief Engineer or Master.
  • Offshore marine unit management experience in oil & gas.
  • Deep knowledge of international maritime regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of offshore installation, construction vessels, heavy lifts, pipe/cable lay, jack-up barges, DSVs, etc.
  • Middle East experience is an advantage.
  • Prior Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) or Marine Consultancy background preferred (OVID accreditation advantageous).

Key Responsibilities

  • Marine Assurance & Compliance
  • Oversee Vessel Suitability Surveys and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Ensure all marine units maintain valid OVID reports and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct competency assessments of senior officers and coordinate approvals with OPCO Marine.
  • Review, vet, and steward Marine Unit Acceptance (MUA) documentation.
  • Manage Marine Operations Safety Induction (MOSI) for all project personnel.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Lead adherence to QatarEnergy LNG Marine Operations Procedure (MOP).
  • Manage periodic vessel inspections, safety walks, and quality checks.
  • Serve as focal point for defect/breakdown management and MOP violations.
  • Incident & Performance Management
  • Support incident investigation, reporting, and lessons-learned processes.
  • Track and report Marine KPIs, performance standards, and compliance matrices.
  • Contribute actively to bi-monthly marine incident review sessions.
  • Demobilization
  • Coordinate marine unit demobilization and MUA closeout.
  • Issue performance reviews and share feedback with stakeholders.

3. Subsea QA/ QC Specialist

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 15 years of working experience in Quality Assurance & Control for  Oil & Gas EPC/EPCM projects; 10 years of which must include  exposure to subsea pipeline projects.  
  • Shall have a proven track record in a senior QA/QC role, delivering  challenging subsea projects  
  • Subsea Pipeline Project Experience is essential, with emphasis on  Pipeline Operations, Integrity inspection, Maintenance and/or  Design/Construction. Specific experience shall include specialized  Pipeline Isolations for Subsea Pipeline Repair and Sleeper damage  
  • Knowledge of pipeline corrosion, failure mechanisms, corrosion  controls, SHE standards and a proven track record within a subsea & pipelines integrity focused organization.  
  • Capability to develop and implement project quality plans, ITPs, QA and QC procedures, procurement plans, material / equipment criticality ratings, etc.  
  • Experienced with subsea pipeline coating specifications and  inspection methods.  
  • Proven source-inspection coordination and expediting experience, for critical/long-lead materials.  
  • Support underwater inspection of offshore structures, including UWI scope, anomaly criteria, execution support, report review and anomaly assessment/follow-up.  
  • Experienced in Under Water Inspection (UWI), and capable to review and accept the UWI reports.  

4. Cost Control Lead

The Cost Control Lead provides expert guidance on cost management—including estimating, forecasting, reporting, allocation, planning, and stewardship of project expenditures. This role also assesses financial risks, develops procedures, and supports the CO₂ Sequestration Project with high‑level analytical and advisory capabilities. Job Context & Major Challenges
Develops detailed cost planning models, project cost estimates, analyses, and reports.
Recommends process improvements to align with specialized business requirements.
Ensures consistent, accurate financial control across multidisciplinary project environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • 8 years in business‑related functions, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role (contractor/vendor management).
  • Experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, vendors, or service companies.
