1. Electronic Board Repair Technician
To provide technical expertise in diagnosing and repairing faults on complex microprocessor-based PCBs. The role requires an in-depth understanding of embedded systems, digital electronics, memory interfaces, and advanced rework techniques for high-density boards. Electronic Board Repair Technician will support production and field return analysis through detailed fault isolation and resolution at the component level.
Job Description:
- Perform advanced fault diagnosis on microprocessor-based electronic boards using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and in-circuit testers.
- Identify failures in microprocessor circuits, including memory subsystems, power rails, crystal oscillators and clock distribution.
- Conduct component-level troubleshooting and repair, including BGA components.
- Experience in Recover and reprogram firmware
- Perform soldering and rework with high precision.
- Run post-repair functional and regression tests to ensure full board recovery.
- Use custom test jigs or emulators to simulate real-world conditions for board verification.
- Collaborate with teams (APICS/Process/Maintenance/Production) to assist in debugging hardware/software interface issues.
- Document detailed repair processes, including root cause analysis, replaced components, and test outcomes.
- Maintain accurate repair logs in compliance with ISO/IPC standards and internal quality systems.
- Support reliability improvement initiatives by identifying design weaknesses or recurring field failures.
- Act as a technical expert and provide knowledge sharing with technicians.
- Work closely with teams to feedback on hardware failures and suggest process for repair improvements.
- Support reverse engineering efforts when required for obsolete or undocumented hardware.

2. Baking Furnace Operator
To perform operational tasks and duties as required within the Carbon Plant to assist Qatalum in achieving its business objectives.

- Support the development and training of National employees.
- Ensure that work carried out in the Carbon Plant contributes to the shift and daily anode production levels in order to meet predefined targets.
- Assist the shift supervisor in introducing new tools, technologies and work routines to shift workers in order to increase awareness and improve efficiency
- Perform first line maintenance on equipment in order to minimise costly downtime or escalate as needed.
- Identify and report any maintenance and modification ensuring that any malfunctioning equipment is immediately and rapidly repaired or replaced.
3. Process Engineer EI (Extrusion Ingot)
To plan, coordinate and direct all technical and process relevant activities in the Extrusion Ingot (EI) production lines to meet the objectives in terms of technical and process efficiencies, product quality, cost, customer expectations and scrap recycling.
Job Description:
- Responsible for continuous improvement activities to establish the optimum process control parameters, raw materials, operating technology and operational procedures to ensure achievement of production/process, quality and cost objectives.
- Ensure an optimised usage of pre/ post consumed scrap to secure margin optimisation and lowest possible CO2 footprint
- Supervise Mouldshop activities for safe and smooth operations and intime availability of casting equipment to support production plan and productivity on lines.
- Suggest and coordinate CAPEX projects in assigned area.
- Perform routine monitoring of production and environmental processes, investigating special causes of process variations and setting appropriate actions to correct these variations.
- Monitor process deviations and make sure that measures are taken and followed up to secure that the processes are in control
- Evaluate actions, adjustment of operational parameters in order to determine their impact on the overall production processes.
- Check reported data in order to check its validity fit for purpose for use in process development and propose improvements if needed
- Authorize and approve product specifications, production parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to product quality and process efficiencies.
- Liaise with customer and sales staff in negotiations related to quality aspects of EI products, availability of EI production line to produce certain products and advise on the suitability of existing products in respect to new enquiries.
- Handle customer interaction in cooperation and guidance from Hydro’s technical support team and Qatalum technical Customer Service/Marketing departments in order to effectively fulfil customer requirements.
- Ensure claims and complaints processing is completed in conjunction with Hydro’s CTS and Qatalum CTS/Marketing department in order to ensure any customer issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide day to day technical and process support to process manager and operations teams to resolve technical and process problems.
- Provide technical and process training, coaching and technical assistance to operators and production team coordinators.
- Communicate, implement and document of process changes and improvements in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 standards and BPS.
- Supervise audits of technical and process procedures within the production environment
- Communicate effectively at all levels within Casthouse on process issues.
- Communicate and coordinate the implementation of process changes on approval

4. Security Foreman
Supervise controls and monitors the activities of security employees covering surveillance and security precautions with the objective of protecting Qatalum employees, premises, property at the location facilities and installations. To plan, control and monitor all the activities related to issuance of MIC security passes and MOI portal activities, vehicle passes, and photographic permits for all people (employees, contractors, visitors) at the company site, in accordance with the company policies and procedures and MIC requirements. Responsible for ensuring effective application of security requirements, handling incidents, emergencies and compliance matters.
Provide leadership and support in the site security area in the absence of the Head of Security.
Additionally, he will be in direct contact with MOI, MIC, QatarEnergy, Port Authority, and Police Officers for all process across seven different authority office locations that require in person interaction, representing Qatalum.
Job Description:
- Perform all steps necessary to get the MIC passes including Port
- Interact with MIC/MOI authorities in all subjects under his level of responsibilities.
- Ensure the enforcement of Qatalum traffic management procedures.
- Ensure that that Security Guards patrol perimeter fences, check doors, windows, and gates, to ensure their security.
- Monitors the checking of movement of personnel, materials and vehicles in and out of the site and office buildings by Security Guards.
- Attend all accidents or incidents and breaches of security, involving Company employees, assets and property, including security violations, vehicle and industrial accidents, and/or any criminal violation on any Qatalum premises.
- Investigate any incidents/accidents on Qatalum premises, write reports and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Ensure that all Authorization documents required are correct
- Carry out supervisory duties and exercise authority at the level established by Management for this position.
- Assist in Planning and development of programs to mitigate identified threats.
- Assist with review of annual plans and programs to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Ensure that all mandatory Health and Safety requirements are met by the Security Section.

5. Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – GRC
To lead and manage the SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework to ensure effective access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), risk monitoring, and regulatory compliance across all SAP landscapes, while strengthening internal controls, audit readiness, and IT security governance in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Job Description:
- Configure and maintain SAP GRC Access Control (AC) module for segregation of duties (SoD) analysis and Process Control (PC) for internal controls automation.
- Administer SAP GRC Risk Management (RM) module for enterprise risk assessment.
- Maintain SAP GRC Emergency Access Management (EAM) for privileged access controls.
- Configure business roles, composite roles, and authorization objects within SAP GRC framework.
- Experience with reporting tools (SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI).Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Identify opportunities for GRC process automation. Optimize existing GRC workflows and controls
