1. Rope Access NDT Technician (Fixed Term

This Job serves the operational side of the organization's business. NDT (Non-destructive testing) technicians evaluate the physical properties of a material without causing any damage. They will inspect and test the material to find any possible corrosion, cracks, or other imperfections which could alter its performance or integrity. Use of IRATA Rope access techniques as required. Work sites are onshore, offshore and in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Functions

  • Reports to the site supervisor/ superintendent, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable day-to-day NDT inspection job for our clients.
  • Use rope access, under the close supervision of a qualified IRATA level 3, to access work areas deemed as working at height. (When required)
  • NDT Technician Inspection using Ultrasonics, Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Liquid/ Dye Penetrant and Eddy Current Techniques. (Daily Routine)
  • Carry UT inspection techniques to components requiring inspection.
  • Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities.
  • Carry out risk assessments/Take II as required.
  • Ensure inspection is carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification.
  • Perform routine equipment / consumable function tests to ensure everything is in good working order. Any issues must be reported directly to supervision.
  • Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification
  • Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires
  • Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements
  • Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems

2. RPO - Rope Access (Fixed Term

This Job serves the operational side of the organization's business. Radiation Protection office based in Qatar for all jobs where RT work will be carried out. Work sites are onshore, offshore and in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Functions

  • Take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of individuals and employees who work with radiation as well protecting the public and environment against the dangers resulting from radiation exposure and observing all instructions issued by the Ministry.
  • Ensure ALARP principal policy shall be applied all time during RT work.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment and all Radiation safety equipment required to monitor and measure radiation exposure, as required by the nature of the activity are available and calibrated.
  • Take control of Transportation of sources to site as per the local legislation and Client requirement.
  • The transport notification to local legislation and Client and vehicle requirement to be followed.
  • Ensured regulatory reporting and quality control, complete and accurate data collection.
  • Reports to the site supervisor/ superintendent, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable day-to-day inspection job for our clients.
  • Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities and ensure the permit / barricade / monitoring and Observance of Local Rules
  • Carry out risk assessments, observation cards and Take II as required.
  • The duties of an RPO can check and monitor the following activities and mainly sub-divided between 3 areas of the work activity, before, during and after radiography.
  • Ensure inspection is carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification.
  • Perform routine equipment / consumable function tests to ensure everything is in good working order. Any issues must be reported directly to supervision. Follow Oceaneering safety check lists.
  • Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification

  • Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements
  • The RPO is part of two crew and act as Radiographer while execution of RT work.
  • Make sure the TLDs provided to the RT crew shall be worn all the time while working on RT and replaced with new one after the wear period. The used one to be send back to the origin.
  • Communication, organizing and coordination of work with client.
  • Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems

3. NDT Offshore Supervisor / Rope Access Level 3 (Fixed Term

This job serves the operational side of the organization's business. NDT (Non-destructive testing) Offshore Supervisor RA (Rope Access) Level 3 is responsible for managing a team of technicians in facilitating the analysis of techniques in terms of non-destructive testing. He is the head who overseas technicians in NDT testing methods and processes.

Functions

  • Review workpacks, detailing the level of inspection required by Client and/or Integrity Contractor and the level of preparation required to execute the scope.
  • Assist with workpacks for the inspection teams, prioritise activities, & maintain task register.
  • Communicate with NDT Team Leaders, monitor and ensure that all inspection activities are carried out on time and give Client adequate notice and justification of any adverse impact to the plan attainment;
  • Review all onshore inspection reports prior to submitting to the relevant client engineer.
  • Provide a weekly update to the client on progress.
  • Utilize experience to execute rope access surveys and Inspection work scope from client or site representative
  • Work at height subject expert for the Inspection contract at site. Conduct Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks.
  • Seeks to continually improve existing safe systems and methods of work
  • Maintains the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is kept up to date. On return to Stores, all equipment must be cleaned and manifested to ensure that nothing is missing
  • All relevant paper work in the Rope Access work pack will be read, completed, signed and sent back to operations on completion of the project
  • When working an “ongoing” contract, the equipment will be left in a clean and tidy condition for the oncoming Level 3
  • All equipment will be manifested and all relevant paper work completed
  • Time sheets/client work sheets will be signed and faxed/emailed to the Operations Department
  • Ensures that existing and potential clients are kept informed of advancements to rope access services
  • Attends client meetings during the task planning or organizing period
  • Ensures quality standards are maintained so that quality of service meets the necessary standards
