1. Dimensional Control Engineer

Supervise, Oversee and manage dimensional control survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, plan, and implement dimensional survey programs in accordance with project specifications and schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment.
  • Review and interpret project drawings, models, and specifications to prepare a comprehensive Dimensional Control / Measurement Plan, identifying intervention points in coordination with the Project Quality Lead.
  • Plan and execute surveying and dimensional verification activities for fabrication, assembly, and installation phases, ensuring all mating interfaces (fabrication, marine, structural, piping, and module connections) are accurately measured and that “best-fit” alignment scenarios are evaluated and established.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection & Test Plan (DC ITP) at all stages of project execution and update the plan to incorporate design revisions or scope changes.
  • Review, validate, and formally approve dimensional control reports, submitting them to the Project Lead or Client Representative as required.
  • Maintain detailed and traceable records of all dimensional inspections, survey data, and control activities in accordance with project and company documentation standards.
  • Manage and track all Dimensional Control (DC) survey requests, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and clear reporting of results.
  • Verify that all surveying instruments and equipment (e.g., Leica, SOKKIA, Topcon) are calibrated, certified, and within validity before use.
  • Ensure all Dimensional Control personnel are working with the latest approved drawings and project specifications (AFC status).
  • Liaise and coordinate with Client Discipline Representatives, production team, Quality Inspectors, and Fabrication Leads to resolve dimensional discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor Sr./dimensional controllers, providing guidance, training, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Promote teamwork and effective communication between fabrication, installation, and survey teams to achieve dimensional accuracy and schedule compliance.
  • Employee should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work Environment.   • Support Fit-Up, Alignment, and Weld Visual Inspections as required to verify structural and piping accuracy prior to welding or assembly.
  • Perform other tasks or assignments as directed by the Head of QSA / Project Engineer/Lead / Quality Manager in line with project objectives.
  • Perform other duties or assignments as directed (Fit up inspections, weld visual inspections etc).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years) in a relevant technical discipline, preferably in accredited Civil /Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.

2. Shipyard Facility & Maintenance Manager

Lead the maintenance function in providing both a reactive (breakdown) and pro-active (preventative), multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment, services and infrastructure to ensure increased and sustainable availability is achieved in line with the deliberate maintenance strategy, and with due consideration to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidance.
Responsible for the conduct of all maintenance functions, pro-active maintenance planning and scheduling, overseeing the adherence thereto and timely completion of work carried out. Increase the site operational effectiveness through the development of Service Level Agreements, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, ensuring that Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements are adhered to.
Manage the teams to deliver technical best practice. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Manage departmental delivery against continuous improvement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and champion modern maintenance principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in policy, process, training, and working practices whilst also mentoring and leading the maintenance departments.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive Maintenance Strategy.
  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  • Develop, implement and manage maintenance department policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the implementation and effective use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensure that all equipment and buildings are safe to use and fit for purpose.
  • Plan and schedule all maintenance activities while considering vessel stemming schedule and production work to increase and sustain higher equipment Availability in line with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) set limits.
  • Ensure that inventory levels of parts and materials are maintained to support seamless execution of both preventative and planned maintenance activities. In parallel, work to ensure that there are multiple supplier options in place for all core equipment spares.
  • Further establish and develop standardized service and repair procedures for key equipment, including standardized parts lists for planned maintenance activities.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, implement and manage a continuous improvement program.
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing maintenance team that meets agreed objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports.
  • Review, implement, and update department records.
  • Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget and forecasts.
  • Authorizes purchase of equipment, spares and materials needed 16) Prepare scope of work for any maintenance work contracted out.
  • Take part in technical review and assessment of contractors.
  • Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet company requirements.
  • Render expert Maintenance Management advice to on all matters related to maintenance of facilities, equipment and systems.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a library containing full maintenance records, requirements, technical documents, maintenance standards, norms, dossiers, and material specifications related to the maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Collaboratively with all stakeholders.
  • Ensures good housekeeping at the facilities and work areas of the department.
  • Plan and supervise office space utilization and furnishing and source various items such as office stationery.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.
