1. Automotive Technician Grade 3

Job description

  • Direct Reporting: The technician will report directly to the Workshop Manager/Service Manager.
  • Maintenance Services: Performing Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) as per company standards.
  • Repair Work: Overhauling Powertrain, Drive Train, and Normal Electrical, Mechanical, and unit repairs.
  • Programming: Replacing modules and reprogramming (ECM, BCM, TCM, etc.).
  • Tool Handling: Performing SST (Service Special Tool) tools handling.
  • Qualifications: Recognized diploma or ITI certificate, 3-5 years dealership experience, knowledge of PMS, overhauling Powertrain, Drive Train, and Normal Electrical, Mechanical and unit repairs, knowledge of replacing modules and reprogramming, basic knowledge of SST tools handling.

Skills

  • Performing routine maintenance work such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and parts
  • Examining damaged vehicles and estimating repair costs
  • Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
  • Test-driving vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and to diagnose malfunctions
  • Dismantling and reassembling heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
  • Maintaining logs of work and reporting issues to supervisory staff

  • Monitor and ensure that quality standards are implemented in all areas of activity and report any deviation upon occurrence.
  • Conduct detailed final overall inspection for all vehicles prior to delivery.
  • Whilst testing and inspecting vehicles note any additional work required and report to Service Reception accordingly
  • Maintain records of quality inspections and tabulate workshop quality levels monthly making recommendations for actions required to improve quality levels
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are maintained throughout the site within legal requirements and in line with Company policy
  • Report any out-of-line conditions to the Branch Service Manager
  • This also applies to personnel performing company business off site
  • Maintain records of any out of line conditions showing corrective action taken, with dates.

Job description

  • Preparation of service technicians course materials prior to delivery
  • Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and business objectives.
  • Assess trainees both practically and theoretically and identify areas for improvement and skills development.
  • Carryout On-Job-Training (OJT) assignments across service branches.
  • Participate in Manufacturers/Principals overseas & local training programs as directed by the training manager.
  • Seek and self-learn to be updated with product knowledge and vehicle service technical information.
  • Support service personnel in guiding and resolving technical issues either on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
  • Assist in the planning and executing of training programs to achieve established KPIs.

Skills

  • Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Equivalent
  • Expert in Instructor led technical Training & On-The-Job assignments.
  • Experience working as trainer with Nissan, Infiniti & Renault products for a period of 6 years minimum.
  • Worked as Technician for a minimum of 6 years in a dealership with core skills in electrical & mechanical systems diagnostics.

5. Sales Executive

Job description
