1. Waiter

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the restaurant cleaning in the morning
  • Clean all service utensils before each service.
  • Help captain waiter in the restaurant set up.
  • Keep his / her appearance clean and maintain a high hygiene level.
  • Help captain waiter in mise en place preparation.
  • Transport food from kitchen to dining hall.

  • Merchandising:

  • Record and maintain accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales opportunities.

  • Process:
  • Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for billing and transactions.
  • Balance the cash till at the start and end of shifts.

3. In-Store Visual Merchandiser

Enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers by creating visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing displays for a store or a large department within the store. Working closely with the senior visual merchandisers team you will assist in implementing and maintaining the store's visual standards to drive sales and brand image for a small store or a department within a store.

  • Brand Image
  • Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning staff to uphold the visual standards of a small store or a department within a store.
  • Provide guidance and training to store staff on maintaining visual standards and ensuring a cohesive brand image.
  • Propose changes to improve the overall shopping experience and maximize sales potential.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on customer feedback and sales data.

  • Maximizing placement of new lines, re-merchandising the store when new trends build.

4. Service Crew

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hospitality and Guest Service
  • Provides important visual cues for guests that make a positive first impression E.g. wearing proper career wear that is clean and neatly pressed, maintaining a clean parking lot/exterior and a clean and inviting dining room.
  • Follows the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure coffee and products are always fresh and always accurate.
  • Delivers consistent and outstanding guest service through friendly attitude, attentive behavior and strong product knowledge.
  • Enhances the guest experience by following the S.E.T. Principles: Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You.
  • Uses proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every guest.
  • - Ensures every    guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at front counter and drive-thru.
  • Maintains speed of service targets by working efficiently with a sense of urgency to fill orders and meet guests’ needs.
  • Promptly executes service recovery for any guest concerns or complaints by making it right with the guest, regardless of involvement in the issue.
  • Listens carefully to guests and apologizes for the experience in the case of a complaint. Store Operations
  • Follows all Operations standards and guidelines for preparation of products according to training and instructional materials provided.
  • Prepares all products as required, following the order monitor to ensure the accuracy of every order.
  • Communicates showcase and product needs to ensure proper product availability for guests.
  • Regularly takes temperatures of the required products and records in the Time & Temperature Log. Policies and Procedures
  • Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions.
  • Follows all restaurant policies, procedures and standards.
  • Maintains the front counter by keeping it clean, organized, stocked and ready for rush periods in the restaurant.
  • Follows proper hand washing techniques and all sanitation guidelines; completes all sanitation tasks as outlined by the Store Manager. Cashiering
  • Receives payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change to the customers correctly.
  • Count money in the cash till at the beginning of the shifts to ensure that amount is correct and there is adequate change.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. Health & Safety
  • Works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Knows, understands and follows safe work practices and procedures.
  • Uses or wears personal protective equipment or clothing as required.
  • Reports all injuries/illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents and any contravention of  health and safety legislation, policies and procedures to the Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Owner.
  • Does not operate any equipment, machine, device or thing, or otherwise work in a manner that will endanger anyone.

5. Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that FOH and BOH staffs are familiar with the day’s requirement.
  • Ensure training of all staff is done prior to restaurant opening and whenever needed to maintain excellence of operation standards.
  • Responsible for coordination with all related parties during the Pre-opening Phase of the restaurant to ensure that the Opening Date is reached with full readiness of entire aspects of staffing, training, stocking, menu, budgets, Marketing Plan, and all other aspects of operations.
  • Ensure that all staff is treated fairly and with commonly accepted courtesy.
  • Ensure that time tables, leave roasters and attendance registers are up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with the executive chef and bartender for new menus as needed and to create a wide variety of new dishes and beverage list.
  • Ensure that all communications between restaurant and kitchen run smoothly.
  • Ensure that all purchased order have been delivered and stored.
  • Responsible for the Profit and loss statement of the restaurant.
  • Responsible for achieving set revenues and sales targets for the entire operation of the restaurant on both Floors.
  • Managing the prompt efficient and courteous serving of food and beverage in the restaurant.
  • Schedules working hours of all Service staff, taking into consideration volume of expected business (Reservations and timetables) and ensure that attendance registers are kept daily and that any absenteeism is immediately brought to the attention of the HR.
  • Ensure that all staffs are under control are fully informed in respect of disciplinary procedures, the handling of grievances, etc.
  • Ordering supplies and to ensure that all stocks are ordered to the correct quantities, quality and price.
  • Managing all administration procedure and ensure that all documents are sent to the appropriate accounts department immediately for processing.
  • Ensure that expenses are within budget limits.
  • Managing the Tips division.
  • Control and manage the monthly inventory.
  • Managing the day to day function of all restaurant employees, facilities, daily stock checks/stock takes and sales.
  • Ensure that all stocks are being kept securely and under the correct conditions applicable to each type of commodity stored
  • Managing the daily briefing with the staff to ensure smooth running of the service sequences
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Managing Partner to ensure that operation is going as it should and to ensure that any special arrangements are properly communicated.
  • Responsible for the PR and Marketing activities and communication in order to maximize exposure, footfall and sales revenues of both levels of Restaurant.
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on all aspects of the restaurant operations, including but not limited to budgets, cost breakdowns and sales breakdowns (per food categories, customer profile, menu items, days of the week, etc) Health, Safety and Security
  • Maintain the required standard of operational hygiene according to cleaning rotas at all times.
  • Be aware of the Restaurant policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene, and fire life safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.
  • Familiarize with emergency exits and evacuation procedures. Financial Management
  • To achieve the budget by monitoring and controlling the departmental operations, considering restaurant and expenditure.
  • On an ongoing basis, control and analyze departmental costs to ensure performance against budget;implementing corrective measures where necessary to produce positive business results.

6. Stock Coordinator

Stock Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the seamless flow of products from the stockroom to the sales floor. Stock Coordinator works closely with store management, sales associates, and other team members to uphold a high standard of organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process:
  • Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information
  • Inspect the quality of the products and report the discrepancies to store manager / assistant store manager about damaged products.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of merchandise to prevent damage. 
  • Classify and stock the products in the stock room as per the store procedures to ensure quick availability of the product.
  • Tag the newly arrived stock and / or return the products as per the instruction of senior
  • Assist the sales staff in replenishing stocks on the shelves in order to ensure availability of products at all times
  • Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards 
  • Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale / Festival period
  • Must be physically fit and ability of heavy lifting of around 10kgs of weight. 
  • Record the inventory inward / outward and maintain the report of the same
  • Check for missing price tags and report the same
  • Assist during Stock Take processes
