Details

Job Title: Customs Clearance Broker
Location: Doha, Qatar
Hiring Company: DHL Global Forwarding, part of the DHL Group, specialized in air, ocean, and road freight services.

In this role, you will ensure that the customs clearance operations run smoothly by preparing the necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Classify goods according to the tariff coding system

• Review product information to ensure compliance with regulations

• Pay or arrange payment of taxes and duties on shipments

• Prepare import and export documentation according to customs laws and regulations

• Coordinate with customs authorities for smooth clearance

• Sign documents on behalf of clients using powers of attorney

• Advise clients on import/export restrictions, tariff systems, and insurance requirements

• Monitor shipments and coordinate logistics

• Apply for tariff concessions or duty refunds

• Negotiate with service providers and clients

• Provide advice on packaging, insurance, and shipping options

• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and laws

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of import/export documents

• In-depth understanding of import/export procedures

• Familiarity with shipping lines, warehouses, and transporters

• Extensive knowledge of customs requirements

• High attention to detail and results-driven

جهة التوظيف: DHL Global Forwarding، إحدى وحدات مجموعة DHL المختصة في الشحن الجوي، البحري والبري.

في هذا الدور ستقوم بضمان سير عملية التخليص الجمركي بسلاسة من خلال إعداد المستندات الخاصة بالشحنات وضمان التزامها باللوائح الجمركية واحتياجات العملاء.

المهام الرئيسية

• تصنيف البضائع حسب نظام التعرفة الجمركية

• مراجعة معلومات المنتجات لضمان الالتزام باللوائح

• دفع الرسوم والضرائب المستحقة أو ترتيب سدادها

• إعداد الوثائق الخاصة بالاستيراد والتصدير طبقًا للوائح والقوانين

• التنسيق مع الجهات الرسمية لتسهيل عمليات التخليص

• توقيع المستندات نيابة عن العملاء باستخدام التفويضات

• تقديم المشورة للعملاء بشأن القيود الجمركية والتأمين وأنظمة التعرفة

• متابعة حركة الشحنات والتنسيق اللوجستي

• التقديم للحصول على إعفاءات جمركية أو استرداد الرسوم

• التفاوض مع مقدمي الخدمات والعملاء

• تقديم نصائح حول طرق التغليف، التأمين، وخيارات النقل
