Full job description
Assist the dentist during routine and complex dental procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals).
Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed (sterilization and disinfection of instruments and surfaces).
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), if certified.
Mix dental materials (e.g., cement, impression materials) and prepare trays.
Provide suction, retraction, and other chairside assistance.
Patient Care:
Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
Explain dental procedures and post-operative care to patients.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to their needs.
