1. Denter

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance & Repair team
  • Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
  • Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
  • Placing all replaced body parts in proper location and disposing all waste materials appropriately
  • Ensuring time started and completed are entered on Repair Order

2. Mechanic

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair works for the Heavy equipment.
  • Repair and maintenance of the heavy machineries such as Telescopic cranes, on-Road trucks ,Terminal tractors, forklifts ,Wheel Loaders , trailers and other heavy equipment.
  • Ensure that all preventive maintenance is conducted as defined in the system.
  • Attend breakdowns reported from planning office / Engineering team on an immediate basis.
  • Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
  • Perform overhauling for Engine, Transmission, PTO, Gearbox and differential.
  • Dismantle/reassemble equipment (under supervision of Line Manager if required) as and when required.

4. Pipe Fitter

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • To carry out all type of pipe cutting jobs, all type of pipe fabrication works and ship repair works.
  • Read piping isomatric, P&ID drawings, sketches and preparation of pipes with accurate measurement.
  • To work independently with the instruction of Pipe section foreman, charge-hand and group leaders.  Pipe fabrication involved cropping, preparation, fabrication and tack welding.
  • Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the divisions quality assurance procedures and quality manuals
  • Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines according to drawings and templates, using measuring equipment.
  • Housekeeping & Safety – Ensure the workplace and worksite are kept clean and tidy, during and after completion of work. Customer premises/facilities are to be treated with respect and kept clean at all times.
  • Ensure all operations/work are carried out in a safe manner; ensure fellow workers wear the correct PPE.

  • Employee Relations & Personnel
  • Manage employee relations by addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and concerns fairly and on time.
  • Conduct investigations into allegations of misconduct, harassment, or policy violations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Function as the first point of contact for all labor-related issues with the relevant Government ministries and as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Represent the company externally in matters related to employee relations.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs related to workplace ethics, diversity, inclusion, and compliance.
  • Oversee the onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with hiring policies and labor laws.

6. Trailer Driver

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Perform basis vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs
  • Check conditions of trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, tire chains, or spark plugs. Scheduling (Pick Up/Delivery)
  • Collect delivery instructions from planner/scheduler or Supervisor such as TMO (Tablet), verifying instruction and routes. Update pick up and delivery status in real time using the TMO system (Tablet).  Monitor, Track & Deliver (Pick Up/Delivery)
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes.
  • Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
  • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
  • Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
  • Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulation
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous good, and follow special cargo-related procedures.
  • Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks.
  • Collaborate with other drivers as part of a driving team on some trips.
  • Place empty carts and pallets in trailers so they will be available to facilitate placement and movement of goods.
  • Crank trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure vehicles.
  • Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary.
  • Wrap goods using pads, packing paper, and containers, and secure loads to trailer walls, using straps.
  • Climb ladders to inspect loads, ensuring that cargo is secure. Remove debris from loaded trailers.
  • Give directions to laborers who are packing goods and moving them onto trailers.
  • Notify the Supervisor of Arrival at Facility Gate (AFG) and Depart from Facility Gate (DFG) to allow for status tracking and timely work assignment.
  • Coordinate with Port Admin/Tally Clerks to ensure that the Bayyn is received to allow seamless exit from the Port.
  • Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
  • Obtain customer’s acknowledgement/signature on trip ticket upon delivering consignment.
  • Communicate and exchange necessary information with operations office, supervisor or other drivers.
  • Report vehicle defects accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.

7. Agency Planner

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the supervision of loading and discharging of agency cargo vessels and ensure compliance with company operational policies and standards;
  • Responsible for preparing and reporting of the supervisory reports on loading and discharging activities;
  • Arrange berthing/un-berthing for agency vessels;
  • Monitor the discharging and loading activities of agency vessels;
  • Responsible for agency vessels Port clearance and immigration activities;
  • Coordinate with the Master / Chief officer of the vessels and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely handling of all documentation formalities such as manifest reporting, vessel clearances, as well as departure reports and International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) requirements;
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with port authorities, customs, immigration and all other official parties concerned;
  • Maintain healthy relationship with the customers & ensure continuous support.

8. Senior Analyst - Environment (Qatari)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support environment team in driving the implementation of the organization’s environment strategy
  • Drive continual improvement in Milaha’s environment performance through active engagement with operational Departments and Business Units ensuring the appropriate implementation of environment initiatives and programs
  • As directed, support engagements with internal and external stakeholders including clients, trade associations, governmental and non-governmental institutions to enhance Milaha’s profile as an organization proactively driving improvements in environmental performance
  • Ensure the correct implementation of protocols for environmental data collection, verification, analysis, monitoring and reporting through periodic verification and validation activities
  • As directed, support the environment team to address requests for information and/or other relevant support in a timely manner (e.g. client requests, tenders, investigations, etc.)
  • Support environment reporting in line with international and local standards and global best practices (e.g., Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or others, QSE ESG Guidance) by ensuring data reporting protocols are being correctly implemented

9. Technical Analyst

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Extend all possible support to Technical Superintendent for safe and efficient operation of vessels in most economical manner.
  • Process of Requisitions in SNAPS and ensure all checks as required performed, before moving the requisition to different stages.
  • Invoice handling, Add freight & Negative invoicing.
  • Budget Variance report should be sent on Weekly basis every Thursday addressed to Technical Superintendent &Technical Manager.
  • Arrange Class Surveys as per Technical Superintendent advise.
  • Arrange Services as per Technical Superintendent direction.
  • Class reports and status to be send to the vessel on monthly basis or if there is any change.
  • Handling of Laser fiche (LF)
  • Assist Technical Superintendent to make the various reports.
  • Handling of the landing orders and there tracking and connecting it to the vessel.
  • Ensure sufficient stock of lubricating oil, sampling, testing kits & chemicals for test on board.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

10. Senior Pipe Fitter

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for a section team supervision, coordination and leadership in coordination with other sections to support, follow up, report and organize related work activities in the yard
  • Supervise piping works and equipment installation activities and work towards improvement of team members and facility/tools/equipment 
  • Ensure strict supervision of team personnel towards maximum productivity and efficiency with safety and quality first in mind
  • Follow up strictly the assignments, organize and coordinate to execute the tasks/activities as per the approved documentation (drawings, specifications and procedures)
  • Prepare request of materials /services for piping fabrication and repair works. Responsible for ordering, monitoring, distributing and installation of materials
  • Prepare calibration reports for piping fabrication equipment in coordination with QA/QC section
  • Ensure work is executed in assigned budgeted hours, by mantaining accurate tracking of the bookings and manhours consumed by each team member
  • Plan and project manpower requirement. Ensure manpower requirements are communicated to / from the Foreman and are available
  • Report any deviation from schedule and inform in advance Foreman for any risks, deviations and issues expected
  • Maintain quality records updated and assure job history is available for all attended job
  • Prepare job completion reports and submit to Client for approval, after that send to Foreman
  • Ensure each team member has all the necessary tools, equipment, specifications, drawings and procedures to properly accomplish their jobs. Monitor reworks trends and implement corrective/preventative actions
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in a safe and high-quality manner and in compliance with the division’s HSSE, Quality Assurance procedures, Quality Manuals and super yachts standards for engine repairs and overhauls
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management

11. Hydraulic Technician

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters. 
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems
  • Install new hydraulic systems and components
  • Monitor and maintain hydraulic fluid levels and quality, including filtration and fluid replacement.
  • Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies 
  •   With minimal supervision.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to other members of the engineering team, as well as monitoring and 
  •   Controlling the quality of the hydraulic systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root causes of problems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment manuals in the troubleshooting process. 
  • Maintain proper records of consumables usage and disposal to update Equipment Controllers
