1. Field Service Engineer (Qatar)
Responsibilities:
- Meet daily service and repair needs while driving customer satisfaction.
- Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field.
- Provide customer training as required.
- Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
- Review logs for open issues and prepare formal reports for customers.
- Assess product and equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements.
- Work closely with colleagues and Technical Support staff.
- Travel to customer sites and work outside of normal business hours if required.
- Education/Training: Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training; Electrical/Electronic Engineering related degree.
- Computer literacy required; experience with mechanical, electrical systems, and IT/network knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems.
- Minimum 2 years of field experience with electro-mechanical systems.
- Preferred knowledge in IT networks.
- Experience in installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
2. Senior Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage and handle key customers accounts.
- Establish and maintain steady and consistent interface with key personnel for each customer/end user.
- Promote and sell John Crane products and services to meet revenue targets.
- Pursue and convert sales leads; identify and build relationships with new customers.
- Visit existing and potential customers to assess needs and propose solutions.
- Provide sales and technical support, responding to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Regional teams to prepare accurate quotations.
- Review tenders and define price levels; negotiate tenders and offers.
- Share customer feedback and competitor intelligence internally.
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans.
- Conduct customer training and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
- Complete customers database: As-fitted schedules, interchangeability lists.
- Assist in conventional trouble shooting at customers sites when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with equivalent experience. Preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 - 10 years' experience Sales and Account Management
- Strong technical knowledge of process industry, rotating equipment’s and JC product portfolio
- Capability to make technical selections, product presentations, manage qualitative claims, interacting with JC engineering department.
- Must possess excellent networking capability and communication skills.
- Must have the willingness, physical ability, and needed documents for extensive business travel.
