1. Service Engineer – Mechanical
As a Service Engineer - Mechanical, you will play a vital role in supporting service operations in Doha, Qatar. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager for Service Operations Fire, you will be responsible for executing service & maintenance contracts and managing retrofit Jobs in O&G and Commercial sectors.
How you will do
- Manage and execute multiple maintenance contracts & Retrofit jobs.
- Plan, schedule, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of fire protection and suppression systems.
- Prepare engineering documentation and technical submittals for retrofit works in O&G projects.
- Conduct inspections of the Fire Protection systems and prepare the ITM reports in QCDD formats.
- Coordinate and liaise with Qatar Civil defenses authorities for inspections, approvals and Certifications.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance teams on QCDD compliance and fire safety practices.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and long -term business growth.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- QCDD - Certified Mechanical Engineer (Grade A)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in fire protection systems installation & maintenance (O&G and Commercial Sectors)
- In -depth knowledge of QCDD regulations, NFPA Standards and Codes.
- Expertise in Fire Protection & Suppression Systems.
- Strong customer focus with a result-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
2. Service Engineer, BMS Systems
What we look for
- 2-4 years’ Experience in Control systems/ BMS as a service engineer.
- Engineering graduate with UPDA certificate
- Working knowledge of Metasys systems in both industrial and commercial environments preferred. Basic working knowledge of Easy IO, Niagara N4 will be a plus
- Experience with MCC panels and the ability to understand control panel wiring diagrams
- Basic understanding of mechanical plant operation and control as well as their related electrical systems
- Conversant with CCT and the operation of all aspects of control strategies
- Understanding of BMS networking topologies, building industry standard communication protocols.
- Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Confident in IT with working knowledge of all Microsoft packages (MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- A proactive approach to ongoing learning is essential, this will be supplemented by formal and on-the-job training.
- Valid Qatar Driving License
