- Fabrication & Assembly

Roles, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), ITPs, Method Statements, and quality procedures as per client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API, ASME, QCS (Qatar Construction Standards), and local regulations.
- Conduct supplier and contractor quality audits as required by project QA plans.
- Review engineering documents and ensure conformity to project and QatarEnergy engineering standards.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZOP, and quality planning meetings with client representatives.
- Quality Control (QC)
- Manage QC inspections covering piping, mechanical, welding, structural, civil, and electrical & instrumentation activities.
- Verify material inspection, traceability, MTCs, and ensure materials comply with QatarEnergy-approved vendor lists.
- Witness welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualification tests, and monitor weld quality on site.
- Coordinate and review NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, Hardness Testing).
- Witness FAT, SAT, hydrotest, pneumatic tests, and pre-commissioning/commissioning works.
- Issue NCRs, corrective actions, and follow up until closure with contractors.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all QA/QC records in compliance with Qatar documentation standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly QC inspection reports and ensure timely submission to the client.
- Compile Quality Dossiers, Test Packs, and Final Handover Documents for client approval.
- Manage RFIs, surveillance reports, and inspection logs.
- Contractor & Vendor Coordination
- Conduct quality surveillance visits to local and international vendors.
- Review and approve vendor QCPs, ITPs, and manufacturing records.
