1. Lifting Engineer
Job Description:
- We have an urgent requirement for our client Oil and Gas EPC projects onshore/offshore in Qatar location.
- Position: Lifting Engineer/Supervisor - Offshore
- Location: Qatar.
- Experience required as below:
- Candidates should have a very good experience in hoisting management of offshore structures, including new platforms, platform modifications, and underwater pipeline/structure installation and hoisting and hoisting design (application of hoisting software), be able to independently complete the lifting plan design and submit for review. Experience in the Middle East projects is preferred.
2. Shipping and Logistics Manager
We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, logistics coordination, and warehouse management for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will lead strategic logistics planning, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining QHSE compliance standards.?
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain & Logistics Management:
- Direct end-to-end logistics operations including CAPEX, OPEX, commercial contracts, and stock control for project requirements?
- Coordinate sea, air, and land transportation with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters?
- Manage vessel and port operations including loading, unloading, berthing, and cargo scheduling?
- Oversee ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo) transport management and route surveys?
- Handle 250+ transport vehicles daily for inbound and outbound operations?
- Procurement & Commercial Operations:
- Lead procurement activities for raw materials, equipment, tools, and spare parts with multi-million USD budgets?
- Manage 200+ SKUs for machinery tools and spares across multiple projects?
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to optimize costs and quality?
- Handle tendering processes, budget management, and order processing systems?
- Monitor commercial activities and maintain contractual compliance throughout project lifecycle?
- Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Supervise multiple warehouse operations ensuring stock accuracy and zero variance?
- Implement warehouse rationalization strategies to optimize distribution networks?
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous materials following proper storage procedures?
- Ensure Just-in-Time delivery schedules while maintaining minimum inventory levels?
- Conduct regular stock verification, manage discrepancies, and handle vendor returns?
- Team Leadership & Compliance:
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal departments?
- Ensure QHSE compliance across all operations and conduct regular safety meetings?
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities including customs and port authorities?
- Provide training, coaching, and performance reviews for team members?
- Maintain detailed MIS reports and KPI tracking for management review?
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, or related field?
- Post Graduate certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM)?
- Post Graduate certification in Export & Import Management (EXIM)?
- Diploma in Materials Management preferred?
- Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and warehouse management?
- At least 5+ years of experience in Qatar or Middle East operations?
- Proven experience in oil & gas industry projects with major clients (Shell, Total, ONGC, etc.)?
- Experience managing EPC contracts and offshore/onshore operations?
- Track record of managing multi-million USD procurement budgets?
