Required jobs in Total Safety company and their details:

1. Breathing Apparatus Technicians

Job Description:

  • High school Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Occupational Health and safety field in oil and gas or relevant industry.
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills and good understanding of Microsoft Office tools
  • Good understanding regarding the work and correct usage of different types of safety equipment including working at height equipment.
  • Good communication (oral) skills in English • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member.
  • Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures
  • Perform monthly Inspection of SCBA and EEBA of multiple models & brands located at SITE across the COMPANY onshore premises. Inspection must be conducted in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and in line with COMPANY requirements. This SERVICE includes removal of defectives units identified during the inspection, and deployment replacement. All SCBA & EEBA Equipment is available and owned by COMPANY.
  • Carry out regular and periodic refilling of SCBA, EEBA and other breathing air cylinders required on a regular basis as part of SCBA maintenance program, following drills, trainings or emergency or normal activity utilization of equipment.
  • Perform monitoring of Standby Breathing Air Equipment while in operation. This includes deployment of the Supplied Air Trolley unit to the plant location, standby support to ensure operational needs during its use and removal of upon activity completion to the dedicated location within SITE

2. Offshore -Safety Officer

Job Description:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification, of minimum one year duration, in Occupational Safety and Health or NEBOSH/NVQ Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational safety and health, which shall include a minimum of 3 years experience in an Oil & Gas sector. 2-year experience in Shutdowns and Turnarounds preferred.
  • Good understanding regarding the working and correct usage of different types of safety equipment (fall arrestors/PPEs etc.).
  • Good understanding of risk assessment methodologies, reactive and proactive monitoring techniques and incident investigation techniques.
  • Sound knowledge in emergency response and management.
  • Good understanding of hazards and controls of work at height, confined space, rigging lifting, scaffolding and hot/open flame work.
  • Good knowledge on types of gas monitors, gas test requirements and characteristics of toxic and flammable gases, preferably AGT level 1
  • Good knowledge and understanding on occupational health hazards controls/monitoring.
  • Good communication (oral and writing) skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member.
  • Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures.
  • Provide the support in maintaining the IIF safety culture.
  • Provides H&S information, support and mentorship to Operations personnel and other internal clients to ensure the conduct of safe and hygienic work practices.
  • Provide SME support for hazard identification, Job Safety Analysis and formal risk assessments.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of safe operating and emergency procedures, manuals, bulletins and other H&S publications.
  • Takes an active role in the development and implementation of the permit to work system and provides independent oversight by reviewing selected permits issued by Operations personnel.
  • Delivery of toolbox talks
  • Conducts regular PTW Audits and Safety inspections of plant and equipment.
  • Participates in incident control during accidents or emergencies.
  • Participates in incident investigations.
  • Ensures that H&S equipment and facilities are kept in best working.
  • Assists with industrial hygiene surveys to identify and quantify occupational workplace stresses.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments, safe working practices, government regulations and relevant international codes of practice.
  • Developing proactive and reactive monitoring report.

3. Safety Planner

Job Description:

  • High school Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Field.
  • Strong knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of Safety Technicians.
  • Solid understanding of the Technical Planner and scheduler for activities related to Safety Equipment PM.
  • Good computer literate with a knowledge of SAP and commonly used business software applications.
  • Familiarity with preventative and corrective maintenance systems, performance measures, and their applications.
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills and good understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good understanding regarding the working and correct usage of different types of safety equipment (Breathing Apparatus/Gas Monitors/Fall Arrestors/PPEs etc.).
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member.
  • Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures.
  • Planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive and corrective inspections, to maintenance and integrity activities related to the Safety Department to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate and follow up on all necessary transportation and logistics.
  • Coordinate and ensure material availability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance assigned to the Safety Department.
  • Ensure daily RBWS meeting occurrence and relevant representation for preventative and corrective maintenance assigned to Safety Department.
  • Coordinate and follow up on the ITP/PO, delivery notes, invoices, and SES.
  • Review Safety critical equipment services records and timesheets.

4. HSE Officer QE Approved

Job Description:

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
  • Valid Qatar Energy (QP) HSE Officer approval – required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in Oil & Gas (construction, maintenance, or operations).
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
