1. CAD Technician
Job Description:
- Prepare detailed CAD drawings for roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure works in compliance with Ashghal standards.
- Update and revise drawings based on design changes, engineer instructions, or client feedback.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and meet project specifications and drafting standards.
- Maintain an organized filing system of drawings and project documentation.
- Coordinate and liaise with engineers, designers, and other project team members.
- Assist in compiling design documentation and as-built drawings.
- Perform quality checks to ensure drawing consistency and compliance with Ashghal guidelines.
- Support the BIM team when required and integrate CAD work with BIM models as needed.
2. Environmental Specialist
Job Description:
- Ensure adherence to Ashghal's standards and Qatar's environmental regulations. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to monitor compliance.
- Implement and maintain an effective EMS, achieving environmental best practices and compliance with all contractual and legal requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities, compile permit applications, and manage renewals as required.
- Develop and manage strategies to achieve sustainability targets, including monitoring environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring alignment with sustainability rating schemes like CEEQUAL.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze environmental data. Prepare monthly environmental reports for submission to the client and relevant authorities.
- Attend and contribute to weekly HSE and monthly progress meetings with the Supervisory Consultant (SC), Project Management Consultant (PMC), and Ashghal.
3. Handover Manager
Job Description:
- Lead the overall handover process for roads and infrastructure projects in compliance with Ashghal standards and project specifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive handover and closeout strategies, ensuring readiness for project completion and asset transfer.
- Coordinate between design, construction, and operations teams to ensure all deliverables, documentation, and inspections are completed on time.
- Ensure all as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, permits, and final certifications are properly compiled and submitted.
- Liaise with Ashghal representatives and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with handover protocols and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor contractor performance related to completion, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Manage project punch lists, defect rectifications, and final inspections prior to handover.
- Maintain accurate project records, databases, and handover tracking systems.
- Support post-handover evaluations and lessons learned to improve future project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the closeout phase.
4. Protection Engineer – Site Supervision (6 Months)
Job Description:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in protection and control engineering (substations / transmission & distribution / power plants).
- Hands-on experience with protection relays (Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider, SEL, etc.).
- Knowledge of relay coordination, fault analysis, and power system protection schemes (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.).
- Familiarity with testing tools (Omicron, Doble, Megger, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and local utility standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and site management skills.
5. Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
- Manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting for large-scale roads, drainage, and utilities projects.
- Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and oversee procurement.
- Administer contracts, variations, claims, and payment certifications.
- Provide commercial advice, value engineering input, and risk management support.
- Liaise with Ashghal, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve commercial issues.
6. Principal Architect
Job Description:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Applied Sciences not accepted).
- Minimum 10 years in architectural design and/or buildings project management consultancy.
- Minimum 10 years in large and/or international firms as Architect or Senior Architect.
- Minimum 2 projects with hands-on experience in tower design and/or design review.
- Minimum 5 large projects completed from Concept to IFC level (Design or Design Management).
- Minimum 5 years in architecture and interior design review at detailed design and IFC level.
- Minimum 5 years in multi-disciplinary coordination (AR/MEP/ST/ID).
- Proven experience in scope writing and reporting.
- Strong time management skills; results-driven with minimal supervision.
- Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks fluidly.
- Language: Fluency in English (preferably as first language).
- All qualifications to be supported by reference letters, portfolio, and CV.
