Plate Rolling Machine Operator
A Doha-based fabrication role operating plate rolling machinery for EPC and Oil & Gas work.
Responsibilities and Professional Scope
- Operate and set up plate rolling machines in accordance with engineering drawings, work orders and production specifications.
- Roll steel plates into cylinders, cones and other required shapes with precision and accuracy.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, technical sketches and manufacturing instructions.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve required dimensions, tolerances and product quality.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and project requirements.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance, reporting operational issues promptly.
- Follow company HSE policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with fabrication, welding and quality teams to support efficient production and timely project delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma, ITI, or technical/vocational certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating plate rolling machines in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings and using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Strong knowledge of plate rolling processes, machine setup and material handling techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong commitment to quality, productivity and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Welding Supervisor
A welding leadership role supporting safe, quality-controlled fabrication and EPC/Oil & Gas work.
Responsibilities and Professional Scope
- Lead, supervise and coordinate welding activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time and in accordance with project specifications.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, welding maps and procedure specifications.
- Ensure welding activities comply with applicable codes and standards such as ASME, AWS and API.
- Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and qualification records (PQR/WQR).
- Oversee welder performance and ensure valid qualifications and certifications.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings and ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Monitor welding quality, inspections and NDT activities.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering and construction teams.
- Identify and resolve welding issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain welding documentation, reports and daily progress records.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance and calibration of welding equipment.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
