Quality Inspector (Machining Facility)
A full-time quality-control role inspecting materials, threaded connections and machined parts within NOV’s machining facility in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials against applicable requirements and specifications.
- Inspect threaded connections and machined parts against drawings, procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Accept or reject machined and finished parts based on inspection results.
- Support machinists in resolving quality issues and interpreting requirements.
- Coordinate qualification and requalification activities for premium connections and validation where applicable.
- Maintain daily inspection records, calibration records and quality documentation.
- Use the relevant company systems for job authorization, procurement and calibration activities.
Requirements
- High school, diploma or engineering qualification relevant to the role.
- At least two years of relevant inspection experience in a machining environment or rotary-shoulder connections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures and specifications.
- Practical knowledge of machine-shop quality control and relevant industry connection standards.
- Good English communication and accurate documentation skills.
