Qatar Aircraft Catering Company is recruiting an Equipment Operator in Doha to operate light and heavy vehicles, including catering high-loaders, and support safe, on-time loading and offloading of aircraft catering according to flight schedules.

2. Job Description

The role combines vehicle operation, high-loader positioning, aircraft catering handling, ramp safety and operational reporting. The operator works to airline specifications, galley loading plans and food-safety standards while coordinating with transport supervision during incidents or operational changes.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch allocated flights on time according to airline specifications, galley loading plans and food-safety standards.
• Observe speed limits and safety-belt requirements while driving airside and landside vehicles.
• Align high-loaders safely with aircraft or unit docks and apply cones and wheel chocks as required.
• Safeguard assigned tablets, radios, mobile devices and personal protective equipment.
• Complete driver movement sheets for every shift and keep vehicle cabins clean and free from FOD.
• Report vehicle damage or defects promptly to the shift in charge.
• Load and offload catering safely according to customer specifications and complete vehicle handover procedures.
• Coordinate refuelling before sign-out and handle charter, Amiri, VIP and private-aircraft operations when assigned.
• Follow ramp-safety and marshalling procedures and report delays, accidents or incidents accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisors and relevant teams during emergencies and follow company, airport and local-authority procedures.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• High-school qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of job-related experience.
• Experience operating airline catering high-loaders, hi-lift trucks or equivalent ground-support equipment.
• Home-country trailer licence or heavy-goods vehicle licence.
• Familiarity with airside and ramp-safety procedures.
• Good spoken and written English.
